Do not look at the art
This was a low tech test for a high tech project that eventually had to go on hold for lack of resource. The ultimate aim was to make a kind of guided meditation / spell that provided an enhanced experience of art work in a gallery - stripping away all the extraneous distractions for a more visceral contact with the work itself. I had ultimately wanted to do this doing augmented reality but this was more complex and costly than I had initially estimated.
Thanks to Gemma Brace for arranging access to the Arnolfini's recent Emma Talbot exhibition while the gallery was closed to the public, and to my MA classmates for being test subjects. Photos: Emma Lilwall.
